What this log is, and how to read a row

This board reads like a treasure log: each row records what was found, when it turned up and where it came from. That provenance is the point — it lets you judge a find rather than just admire a price. Below: how rows are chosen, how to read one before chasing it, and what the log cannot tell you.

A log, not a shop

A dated English record of live listings on Taobao, Weidian, 1688 and JD, showing what was found and when. It documents; it does not sell.

  • Finds are datedwhen it turned up is part of the record
  • Source is recordedwhich marketplace it came from
  • Nothing is sold hereyou take the link to Itaobuy
  • Checked over timestale finds are removed

Discovery and fulfilment are separate: the log finds, Itaobuy buys, checks and ships.

Judging a find before chasing it

The thing you are after will usually be listed more than once, at different prices and with different pictures. Compare, then confirm the price has not drifted since the row was logged.

What a find records, and what it cannot

One side holds what the record is capable of stating. The other holds what no record can know until a warehouse has the item in hand.

✅ Recorded
❓ Unrecordable

Never take a number at face value without the shots underneath it. Good shots, believable number: worth chasing. Same shots, materially less: log it. One unclear shot: ask before you spend.

Drawn from public material so provenance can be checked. Prices and routes are set on Itaobuy's pages.
