Provenance & price

What a find costs once you have logged it

Every row on this board carries two stamps: when it turned up and where it came from. Both matter when you start costing an order, because the source marketplace sets the price tier, the seller's reliability and how long the domestic leg takes. This page walks the money backwards — from the price you logged, through the warehouse, out to your door — and flags the points where a hunt turns expensive.

Logged, priced, shipped

Seller price, domestic hop, freight, Itaobuy's service fee, duty. We record what we can verify and leave rates to Itaobuy's estimator, because a printed figure would be stale before you read it.

  • Logged pricewhat the row said when it was found — check it again, listings move
  • Domestic hopseller to warehouse, short and usually cheap
  • Freight outpriced on measured weight once the box is packed
  • Dutyyour country's call, and the least predictable of the five

Verifying a find before it travels

The warehouse photographs what arrives before dispatching it, and on a board built around discovery those images do double duty: they confirm the thing is what the listing claimed, and they let you record condition next to the find itself. Look for colour, surface faults, the size tag, seam work and variant.

✅ Confirmed by image
  • · Colour, against the photo you logged rather than the seller's render
  • · Surface faults — marks, pulls, scuffs, fittings that fail
  • · The size tag, so the find can be recorded accurately
  • · Seam and stitch quality, which photographs show better than descriptions do
  • · That the variant matches, including colourway and finish
  • · Quantity, when a find turns out to be worth more than one
🚫 Not confirmed by image
  • · Hand feel, drape and weight — the reasons people keep or regret a find
  • · Odour, especially on leather, synthetics and anything sealed
  • · Whether fastenings and elastic hold up beyond a first wear
  • · How the colour reads away from warehouse lighting
  • · Fit, since a tag records a label and not your measurements

Left: what the images confirm. Right: what remains a matter of faith until delivery.

  • Re-check the price before you pay.A logged row is a snapshot; the listing behind it may have moved since.
  • Ask for another angle when a shot is ambiguous. One more image is free; discovering a fault after dispatch is not.
  • Record condition alongside the find.Your own log is worth more than any platform's history.
  • Compare tags to measurements, not to other tags.Sizing conventions differ between marketplaces and between sellers.
  • Check quantities before consolidationMulti-item orders are where count errors hide, and they are far easier to fix before the box is sealed.
  • Keep the warehouse receiptThe inbound record proves what arrived, which is what you need if a claim has to be made later.

Routes, chosen after the find is verified

Route choice comes once inspection passes, and Itaobuy's lines differ on three things: what they cost, how long they take, and what they refuse to carry. Weight and volume drive the price far harder than the number of finds in the box, so pack tightly.

Dimensional weight surprises people

Light, bulky parcels are billed as though dense. Compress before submitting.

Hold finds, ship once

Storage exists so several logged finds can leave as a single parcel.

Category restrictions are per line

Batteries, liquids, magnets and aerosols each have their own answer.

Transit windows are indicative

Customs and weather sit outside Itaobuy's control.

Insurance is proportionate

Modest on one find, sensible on a box of them.

Tracking follows the carrier scan

Submission and tracking are different events, often a day apart.

The parts behind a total

Five components, plus whichever extras you select at submission:

Logged price + domestic hop + freight + service fee + duty, confirmed at checkout

We print no rates because your item, route and country decide them. Take live figures from Itaobuy's estimator and treat Itaobuy's pages as final.

Fees, line by line

Test the numbers yourself

Enter your own values — logged price, domestic hop, packed weight, international rate, Itaobuy's service fee, exchange rate — and watch each row recalculate. Nothing is added behind the scenes.

Returns, refunds and Itaobuy's prohibited list

Itaobuy publishes its after-sales terms and prohibited list. Read the clause relevant to your find before ordering — a restricted item that reaches the warehouse has nowhere to go.
